229 Vets is a long established veterinary practice on the high street in Blackwood. The surgery is staffed by Mr Jan Hall who is ably assisted by a committed team of five nursing and support staff. Jan brings a wealth of experience to the Blackwood surgery, having qualified in 1986 and worked in several areas in England and Wales. Jan started at Summerhill Vets in 2003 and now runs the Blackwood Branch.

The surgery is adjacent to two large carparks and is easily accessable from the high street.
