Summerhill Vets News - Dangerous Dogs

With all the press coverage recently about dangerous dogs, many people are scared about their pet being classified as a dangerous dog that should be put to sleep.

The Dangerous Dogs Act states that no individuals of the following breeds are to be imported and any existing animals must be tattoo’d and muzzled. The breeds are – American Pit Bull, Dogo Argentinas, Japanese Toza and Fila Braziliero. Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not on the list of dangerous dog breeds.
