Skint Strays Fundraiser at Greyhound Welfare's Family Fun Day held at Rogerstone

It started off a beautiful day but I think the girls were grateful for the umbrella and marquee!

Greyhound Welfare's Family Fun Day was the venue for Skint Strays fundraiser last weekend.  Staff and clients generously donated lots of items for a tombola and stall.  Nicky, Mandy, Helen and Donna together with family members put together a fantastic stall full lof lots of prizes and goodies.  They even managed to keep everything dry in the torrential downpour just before the show opened!

Jean Morris was the vet in attendance for the duration of the show and lots of visitors came over to say hello, it was a lovely afternoon - made more special by the fact that Skint Strays made a fabulous £300 thanks to the generosity of the people who supported us.

Thank you to everyone who attended Greyhound Welfare's Family Fun Day and gave so generously so that the staff of Summerhill are able to carry on treating animals in need like Dexter and give them a new start in life.
