Hannah Holmes, Veterinary Surgeon

Hannah graduated from Edinburgh Veterinary School in 2004 and then started her round trip of the UK - well not quite, she moved from Edinburgh to mixed practice in Yorkshire where she worked for two years.

In 2006 Hannah took up the position of Weekend Emergency Vet at Summerhill, this led to her becoming full-time in 2008.

Globe trekking is in Hannah's blood and she has been to Asia, Africa and the South Pacific, where she has worked as a veterinary surgeon

Now settled back at Summerhill, Hannah is undertaking the General Practice Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, although we hope she isn't counting on the weather in Newport being that of the South Pacific.

Hannah has two dogs in her charge - Dylan a German Shorthaired Pointer (who donates blood if an animal requires a blood tranfusion) and Tally, a German wire-haired Pointer.
