Ivane's Story
Ivane is a a very sweet, extremely loving female tortoiseshell cat. She was brought to the surgery on the 13th of August this year as a client of ours was growing concerned about her welfare.
Ivane had been living around and about the ladies house for quite some time but nobody knew where she came from.
Ivane was obviously not happy about something, and so she arrived at the surgery.
It turned out that she was heavily pregnant and was probably trying to find a suitable place to have her kittens which is why she had seemed unsettled.
Sarah, one of the nurses at Summerhill Vets decided to take Ivane home and foster her until her kittens had been born. 5 days later, her kittens were born on the sofa, in front of the TV!
Ivane has proved to be an excellent mother to her beautiful babies, she is very affectionate and loves a cuddle!
As for her kittens, they are a fun loving little bunch! Fern, the tortoiseshell female being just like Ivane is very sweet and outgoing. Rufus, the ginger male is a cheeky little chappie. Seamus is a little quieter but once he knows you he soon comes out of his shell.
