Summerhill Vets have launched their ‘After 8’ club for the benefit of all pets over eight years old. Our fully qualified veterinary nurses will fully examine your geriatric companion and answer any questions that you may have and perform a number of tests to look into your pets health.
We have Gold , Silver and Bronze packages designed to look at your pets health.
The GOLD package:
- BLOOD TESTING to help detect kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, anaemia and much more. Did you know that the kidneys can still function even if they are severely damaged. Clinical signs are not noticeable until >75% of the kidney is damaged. Early detection is the key to management.
- BLOOD PRESSURE measurements to detect high/low blood pressure, renal disease, heart disease, over active thryroid glands and much more
