Summerhill Vets Services - Neutering
Summerhill Vet Centre advises neutering your pet unless you want to breed from them. Neutering your pet (or castration for the boys and spaying for the girls) helps to stop unwanted litters, reduces the likelihood of certain diseases and cancers, helps reduce territorial marking and helps reduce certain kinds of aggression. We think it’s worthwhile as it makes your pet easier to look after and helps reduce unwanted behaviours. Most pets are neutered at 6 months of age. Ask your vet or nurse for more details.
