Could your pet be the Easter Bunny? Or the Halloween Hound? Or, how about Santa’s Little Helper?
Summerhill Vets are putting together a calendar for 2011 and inviting clients to submit their pet’s photos.
Why we are fundraising
At Summerhill our staff try to help all animals in need, very often we have stray injured animals brought in and cannot trace an owner. The injured or sick animal may require veterinary treatment and staff fundraise continually so that these animals receive treatment and loving care until they are well enough to find new homes. Whether they are abandoned or orphaned babies, victims of road traffic accidents or injured wildlife, our staff do their utmost to nurse them back to health. Summerhill Open Day 4th July is one of our fundraising events
If you would like to take part and enter your pet in this fun competition here are the rules:

Take a photo of your pet in its favourite pose – funny or serious

Keep a copy on your computer so that you can email it to us for uploading onto the calendar should you be a winner – however entries being judged need to be printed off

Write your name and contact details on the reverse of the printed photo

Bring the photograph together with £2 entry fee to Summerhill’s reception and hand it in to one of our receptionists
Winning entries will appear in the calendar which will be printed and for sale later in 2010.
The overall winning entry will appear on the front of the calendar and will receive a gift voucher for a professional photographer to take an 8” x 10” picture of their pet and/or family – worth £100!!!!!
All proceeds from entry fees and sale of calendars will help our staff treat injured animals in the Skint Strays Fund. We will be displaying photographs in our reception.
