Sarah Burns, Supervisor and Registered Veterinary Nurse
Sarah joined Summerhill in 2003 and became a qualified veterinary nurse in 2007. She has become a bit of a foster mum and has taken countless kittens and puppies home to hand rear, which means she has experienced many sleepless nights!
Sarah is a part-time lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at Pencoed College and is training to be a Student Assessor. Sarah was appointed a Supervisor in March 2010.
Sarah is also an excellent events organiser and took us for a charity white water rafting experience in North Wales. The latest Fun Run organised for Animals Asia raised over £1,000. Many of the staff took part and had great fun!
Horse riding is a favourite pastime of Sarah’s and she has a horse called Golly. She has too many pets to name but they include a cat called Princess Jasmine and Sapphire the Border Collie.
