Alex Lewis, Nursing Assistant
Alex joined Summerhill after enjoying work experience here whilst at school. He is well-known for his love of wildlife and has rescued many injured wild animals such as birds, hedgehogs, badgers and foxes. His dedication to wildlife means he is often at the surgery on his days off to tend to them, that is if he hasn’t taken them home, much to his mother's despair!
Alex is always keen to rehabilitate the animals he rescues and release them as soon as possible. He spends his holidays doing voluntary work at a wildlife hospital in Somerset and is gaining valuable knowledge as a result.
Alex has four dogs, Lucky, Molly, Jessie and Sadie.
