Laura Davis, Kennels Assistant
Laura is currently in college studying Animal Management and after a five week placement she stayed on to work part-time at Summerhill. Laura’s course will last two years.
At Summerhill Laura’s tasks include looking after all the inpatents. This includes feeding them, cleaning their cages and assisting the kennels staff in making sure that the patients have had their medication. Laura enjoys the variety of her work. As well as the usual cats, dogs, kittens and puppies she has assisted with caring for wildlife too, although after her recent trip working at a sanctuary in Africa she is finding the pets at Summerhill are all far tamer.
Laura is no stranger to animals at home either, she keeps cats, hamsters and rabbits, one of which she rehomed from the surgery. Laura says Summerhill is a brilliant place to work and we love having her here!
