The Skint Strays Fun Run
Skint Strays is a fund set up at Summerhill Veterinary Centre by a group of Vets and Nurses. The fund is used to treat the sick and injured waifs and strays of Newport and the surrounding areas.
The Summerhill Staff are constantly working hard to raise funds in order to keep Skint Strays going.
Our most recent event was a 5km Fun Run which took place in Bute Park in Cardiff on the 29th of August. Six members of staff (and 5 dogs) were sponsored by family members and clients to take part.
In total £828.63 was raised for the Skint Strays fund! This was absolutely amazing so I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all the support we received.
